Public Administration
Students majoring in Public and Municipal Administration acquire the following professional competencies, knowledge and skills upon graduation:
- Masters the stages of development of public administration and schools of thought in this direction, knows the principles and innovative technologies of public administration, the characteristics of public service organizations, ways to increase efficiency, methods of planning activities in public organizations, principles of goal setting, performance appraisal.
- Understands the basic knowledge of management and organization, the mission, intentions, goals and strategies of the organization, the uncertainties of the period of the IV Industrial Revolution. Able to prevent and resolve conflict situations, analytically and systematically analyze information on the specialty.
- Knows the basic principles of municipal management, the characteristics of municipal service organizations, opportunities to increase efficiency in municipal service, knows the methods of planning activities in local self-government bodies.
- Knows the basic forms of politics, has a basic knowledge of political science and its role in society. Masters the basics of public policy and aspects of public policy of the new period, knows the modern development of international relations, acquires knowledge related to national security.
- Recognizes that sustainable and inclusive development is one of the main priorities of modern public administration, knows the factors that contribute to inclusive development and their management, ensuring the comprehensive development of the state and the well-being of all citizens.
- Able to effectively use human resources and create a favorable socio-psychological environment in the team.
- Knows the schools of strategic management and is able to conduct strategic analysis of situations, master the strategic aspects of globalization, determine the intentions and goals of the organization, master strategic management techniques, timely respond to unexpected changes.
