Tourism and hospitality
Students majoring in "Tourism and Hospitality" acquire the following professional competencies, knowledge and skills upon graduation:
- Knows the concepts and basic information related to tourism, is able to analyze the information using scientific methods. Understands international and local dimensions of management in tourism enterprises, is able to analyze the internal and external environment of the enterprise
- Can analyze and evaluate Azerbaijan's strategic development goals and priorities in the field of tourism
- Has the ability to understand, compare and interpret current and potential trends in international tourism markets
- Acquires the knowledge and skills gained in the field of tourism management in various areas of tourism. Able to organize entrepreneurial activity in tourism in accordance with ethical principles and requirements of the legislation
- Able to manage the quality of service, as well as increase tourist satisfaction. Has the ability to communicate with people from different cultures in an international environment.
